MR. WILLIAMS’ APPOINTMENT. OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED. WELLINGTON, This Day. I Cabinet reconstruction has been completed and the Ministry brought to its full working strength by the appointment of Mr. K. S. Williams, member for the Bay of Plenty, to the portfolio of Public Works, which the Prime Minister relinquished forthwith. In a statement covering the announcement Mr. Coates refers to the difficulty involved in selecting a Minister, when there were so many eligible members of the party, adding that his endeavour had been to choose a team who would give of their best in the country’s service.—Press Assn.
