S. Williams, member for the Bay of Plenty, to the portfolio of Public Works, which the Prime Minister relinquished forthwith. In a statement covering the announcement Mr. Coates refers to the difficulty involved in selecting a Minister, when there were so many eligible members of the party, adding that his endeavour had been to choose a team who would give of their best in the country’s service.—Press Assn.
