INSUFFICIENT SUPPLY. GOVERNMENT ACTION URGED. DUNEDIN, This Day. During the opening of the New Zealand Dental School at Dunedin yesterday, Dr. Pickerell, in the course of a general address, insisted on the importance of apples to prevent decay in teeth, yet, with New Zealand’s abundance, fruit was too dear for daily consumption. He urged Government action whereby sufficient apples for health purposes for New Zealand’s 400,000 children could be stored, and rationed at cost throughout the yea'r.Press Assn.
