Mr Winston Churchill is, appealing for £12,000 to purchase Pettsvrood, an ancient woodland in the vicinity of Chislehurst, as* memorial to Willett, originator of the summer time idea, which occurred during Willett’s early morning rides at Pettswood. —A. and N.Z.
