A feMiW# of today's hearing in the Wa-terJionstf x-ase was Mr Justice Shearman's: nfeciision to admit three letters wrifttw by Prank Waterliouse and given to* Lady Wilson-Barker for the alleged blackmailer. The first letter said: "I now no capital, but only a yearly imftme, since I gave the lady £2100 fast yoa,r. I have a further £400 which I have given her with Skisletter. If requisite I will be able next June to give bar a further £460 or £500." [ I
The letter expressed' gratitude "for the recipient's bravery' when she first' knew of the matter, also* her kindness to us ever since."
The next letter said: <C I am sorry that we have both displeased you. I find I can raise £2000 by the end of the month which I will gi-ve to the lady immediately, and more if you wish it. I have never asked yomv name, therefore I cannot write to you direct. I have taken nobody's advice. I feel convinced after all this time you would not cause the lady such misery as to divulge what only we three know." The hearing was adjourned.—Sun.
