PERSONAL.
The Be v. G-. Stubbs, R.]V., is spending the week-end with "his cousin, Mr A. Stubbs, of Whangarei. Mr H. E. Holland, M.P., will arrive in Whangarei on Tuesday and will deliver a public address in the evening. The Mayor, Mr D. A. McLean, will preside. Mr and Mrs Alfred Bankart, Mr, Mrs and Miss Louissioii, Mr lan and Miss Blythe, and Mr Anderson, arrived in Whangarei yesterday afternoon in two large cars. They stayed■ nt the Settlers' Hotel and left this morning for a fortnight's tour of the North.
