ROBBERY MOTIVE.
SURVEYOR SHOT DEAD. (Received 9.30 a.m.) SJJVA, August 1. Mr Christopher Byers Sealy, public works surveyor in charge of the main trunk road eight miles from Suva, was found shot dead. The sum of £4000 which was in a bag was missing. His motor bicycle was uninjured. Mr Sealy came from the North Island of New Zealand.—A. and N.Z.
