TOKIO, July 29.
The sinking of the Tairei Maru, causing the deaths- by drowning of 138 passengers and" 54- of the crew, was due to collision with th« Shimpo ifaru during &■ dense fog.. The Tairei Mara sank in 20 minutes..—Eeuter.
