Cholera has broken out in vast flooded areas in Southern India. The waters are still rising. Heartrending re- , ports are filtering in from isolated distrietev The floods cut off the Bangalore light supply.

It is reported from Ahmedabad that, apparently as a consequence of rains, portion of a. ginning mill collapsed. TwemtSy-aix persons were sent to hospital.. It is believed that 60 are beneath.the debris,—Sun.
