AUSTRALIA BEATS THE WORLD. (Received 1.30 p.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. In the Federal House of Representatives the Prime Minister, Mr S. M. Bruce, speaking on unemployment, said that the problem in Australia was much less serious than in any other country. Australia was undoubtedly the most prosperous part of the world to-day. The unemployment returns had fallen front 11.4 in 1921 to 7.1 at the present time. —A. and N.Z.
