BATHERS IN TROUBLE.
ONE BOY DROWNED. INVERCARGILL, This Day. While bathing in the Woihopai River yesterday Charles James, aged 1(5 years, got into difficulties in midstream and was drowiied. His brother, Willinm, was rescued in an exhausted condition by Albert Maitland, a Post Office employee, who jumped in to the rescue fully clothed. The body of Charles James was recovered. —Press Assn.
