RUATANGATA NEWS.

METEOROLOGICAL. The rainfall registered at Kuatangata for the mionth of April was 7.90 inches, and the maximum fall 3.75 inches on April 19. There was a total of 12 days with rain. For the corresponding month last year the total rainfall was 4.36 inches and the maximum rainfall 2.21 inches on the Bth, | with a total of 10 days with rain. I PERSONAL. Mr L. H. Lilley left last Saturday en route for Auckland to spend a holiday vacation at Devonport. Mr and Mrs A. T. Laagridgo are at present enjoying a holiday in. our midst. Mr Langridge is an old ex-resi-dent and is pleased once again to be able to lend a helping hand in. connection with hall matters, reminding him of the many pleasant associations spent : in local social affairs in tho past.
