The Picture Show Association communicatcd with the Methodist Conference, protestng against the Press publishing sordid details of a Melbourn tragedy as detrimental to youthful readers. Members of the conference, while appreciating the showmen's protests, agreed it was a case of the pot calling the kettle black, as many posters outside picture shows wcro not calculated to elevate, the minds of young people.—A. and N.Z.
