LABOUR SQUABBLE.
MR DOOLEY SUPERSEDED
EXECUTIVE'S NEW LEADER
(Received 11.40 a.m.)
SYDNEY, This Day
The Australian Labour Party'.s executive elected Mr J. J. McGirr leader of the State Party, as a counterblast to Parliamentary Party's motion expressing renewed confidence in M*r Dooley. Mr McGirr is the only member of the Party who was" nominated. As the Eoxecutive has given the supporters of Mr Dooley seven days to signify acceptance of Mr McGirr, it is anticipated that a serious split will occur in the interim. —A. and N.Z.
