ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGE
MASTERTON, This Day. Palcira Haeata, an intelligent-look-ing native, 30 years of age, was charged in the Magistrate's Court today with having attempted to murder, on February 4 at Black Rock, James Kenrick, a half-caste, who, it is said, was living with Haeat i's wife. Accused reserved his defence and was committed for trh 1 --Press Assn
