WIIANGAREI v. MARSDf^N. An unfortunate nrstake occurred yesterday in the leport of the Wha-ngarei-Marsden match on Saturday in the Whangarei Cricket Association's competition. Tho scores given were actually those of Whangarei's second innings and Marsden's two innings*. Whangarei hatted first and totalled CO, Thomas (10), Foley (9), Hawke (7) and R. D. Speer (7) being the principal scorers, Tee.sdale taking four wickets and Dennis Mid Boggs two each. Marsden replied with 38, and the second innings scores were:— Whangarei, 54 for four wickets (declared) ; Marsden, 30 for three wickets. Whangarei thus won by 22 runs on the first innings. FUTURE MATCHES. The following is the draw for the remaining matches in the first round of the Whangarpi Cricket Association's competition:— , November 4. —High School v.
