ADJUSTMENT OF PAY SCALE
WELLINGTON, This Day.
In connection- with the waterside workers' expiring agreement the shipping companies have cited the unions under the Conciliation and Arbitration Act. The Arbitration Court will therefore decide the terms of the next .agreement. It is understood that the employees suggest that the wages shall b? on the same scale as those paid to general labourers. —Press Assn.
