- The Washington correspondent of the United Press of America states that immigrants are flocking into the United States at nearly the pre-war rate of 1,000,000 yearly. It is learned that officials of the American Federation of Labour intend to press Congress for more drastic immigration laws, on the grounds, that the continuance of the present fcnfiux of alliens will iundi'ern,injb r #he diving standards of the native' organised labour.
