DALGETY'S REPORT.
A slightly firmer tone prevails in the market for hides.
Messrs Dalge'iy and Co. report the sale yesterday of ox hides, 70ib and over at 1/3 per lb, and others from 1/ to 1/1* per lb. Oalf hides ranged in price from 10d to 1/1, and cow hides from 1/ to 1/1.
A number of the lines were, passed in owing to slack bidding.
