MESSRS WESTON BROS.
MARSDEN GARAGE AND MOTOR
WORKS
Messrs Weston Bros are now in their third year of occupancy of the Marsden Garage and Motor Works, Water Street, and they have made many important improvements which stamp them as a progressive and capable firm. Their plant has heen brought thoroughly up to-datfc in every respect including the installation of a first-class storage battery charging system. They claim that their repair shop can now cope with all classes of work and that it can be turned out promptly and ef fieiently at the lowest current prices. There is always a ready to hand stock of tyres, oils, grease, benzine, and of all motor accessories and parts.
The firm, as local agents, have placed several of the famous Republic trucks, ranging from one 30 cwt to two 2 i ton turnouts owned locally, and to a 3_ tonner which is beina; used at Broadwood, and all these trucks are giving entire satisfaction. Three cars, the world renowned Buicks, Hudsons, and Maxwells, con stitute the makes of which Weston Bros, are agents, and the reputation these have in the motor expert world is amply sufficient to warrant their consideration when a new purchase is contemplated.
Messrs Weston Bros, are agents for a motor driven machine which should fill a most apparent and much needed requirments of fruitgrowers nurserymen, and the increasing number of settlers in the North who are undertaking intensive cultivation. That machine is the Beeman Garden Tractor; a turnout costing roughly £160, which is cheaper and more efficient for all work on small properties than are the horse and implements. The tractor absolutely abolishes the damage invariably, done when horses are used to cultivate orchards, etc. and it will also operate separators', circular saws, chaff cutters, etc., at a remarkably low cost. It is a new thing hereabouts; but it is bound to 'become popular, and Messrs Weston Bros, showed foresight in procuring the agency for a plant which will fill a long felt want to those requiring power to draw such implements as hoes, harrows, or any of the Planet I Junior cultivating implements.
