AUCKLAND B. DEFEATS BAY OF
ISLANDS. *
The Auckland B representative football team journeyed to Kaiwakawa yesterday under engagement to meet a Bay of Islands representative fifteeen, and notwithstanding the severe gruelling which the former met with in the Whangarei match on Thursday afternoon, the visitors "got home" on the Bay players by 15 points to three, the scores indicating approximately the calibre of the contesting sides. /
Some of the visitors returned to Auckland from Opua by the s.s. Clansnxani, and others came down to 'Whangarei again and made the homeward trip per s.s. Manaia.
