The recent disturbances in Luxemburg, when 20,000 people attacked the Duchess , Palace and Parliament Buildings, arose out of a demonstration ostensibly directed against the high cost of living, but believed to be really connected with the refusal of the military authorities tp allow the formation of a Republican Government.—A. and N.Z.
