PROVINCIAL CUP.
TOURNAMENT STARTS TO-DAY,
The correspondent . adds that ail the Whangarei players are in excellent health and spirits, and looking forward animatedly to the Provincial Cup Tournament, which commences this afternoon. Pour teams are participating, the draw being as follows:— To-day.—-Whangarei v. Auckland B; Auckland A v. Waihi. Monday.—Whanglarei rv. Waihi; Auckland A v. Auckland B. Tuesday.—Whangarei v. Auckland A; Waihi v. Auckland'B. Ideal weather has prevailed so far, nnd there ar e good indications of its continuance. The results will be posted at the "Advocate" immediately after receipt each evening.
