IN THE HOSPITALS.

In the main hospital there are still 23 influenza patients. Since noon yesterday there has been one death, one discharge, one admission, and two cases are reported serious. There has been one death at Second Avenue Hospital, the patient be.injs , Mr W. Dunn, of Hikurangi. Two patients have been discharged and none admitted. Of the sixteen cases remaining , none are serious. St. Joseph's has had one admission and two cases are classed serious. The rest of the inmates are progressing- most favourably.
