LONDON, December 17
The Pope is sending 20,000 Christmas hampers, containing two pounds of bread and tinned meat, one tin or sardines, chocolates, and dried fruit to the Italian prisoners who are interned at Mathausen to the num'w of 140,000. The women are successfully engaged in the various branches of farm and horticultural work.
