.Uisiralian and N.Z. Cable Association LONDON, October 12. Th e "Morning Post's" Athens correspondent states that the Entente Powers are taking strong measures against the Hellenic Government. Admiral dv Fournet has proceeded to [Athens in the name of the Allies and demanded the surrender of the torpedo flotilla and the disarmament of the larg e slls Ps and snore batteries; also the transfer of the PiraeusLariFsa railway, the policing of Piraeus harbour and Salmis arsenal. Government has handed a formal acquiescence to the British Legation. Other Athens' messages state the ultimatum was due to the necessity for securing the safety of the Allied fleet in view of the activity of pro-Germaii societies in .Greece. The fort, the surrender of which was required, commanded the moorings of the FrancoBritish fleets.
