AERONAUTIC DEVELOPMENT.
LONDON, Oct. 5. The new naval airship Astrain in a trial at Farnbdrough did fifty-one miles in an hour —a record for a non-rigid type. A new armoured biplane carrying a gun was also tested. PARIS, Oct. 5. An aeroplane equipped with a quick-firer successfully experimented at Chalons against a fixed dummy aeroplane. Further tests are being made with moving targets.
