SMASHED TO PULP.
A FRENCH AVIATOR
PARIS, Aug. 25
M. Montalent, who while flying yesterday lost control of his machine, tried to drop into the Seine, but struck a boat. He crashed through the decking and his body was smashed to pulp.
A cable dated 24th stated that a hydroplane containing M. Montalent and his brother was disabled at a great height at Rouen. Both men were killed by falling into a tree and a boat respectively.
