INSURANCES AGAINST CIVIL WAR. I i J INQUEST ON ARMSTRONG. (^) I LONDON, Aug. 24. I Insurance to the extent of |£ 7,000,000 has been effected in Belfast against the risk of Civil War. A witness at the inquest on the [ body of Armstrong, who was shot during the recent riots at Londonderry, 'testified to seeing the police fire in the direction of Armstrong's house. The police, he said, also smashed windows with their batons and rifles.
