(" Sydney Sun " Service.) MEXICO CITY, August 21.

Mi*. John Lind, the American Envoy, and President Huerta, of Mexico, are negotiating amicably.

The report that the Mexican Government had threatened to deliver their passports to the United States Embassy is emphatically denied.

Britishers in Mexico City are organising a manifesto asking the Europeans' Government to use its influence to secure unanimous recognition of President Huerta. Foreigners are convinced that the United States must immediately recognise the Government.
