TERRIBLE GUN ACCIDENT.
A VICE-ADMIRAL MUTILATED. THREE OFFICERS KILLED, OTHERS INJURED. VIENNA, Aug. 21. During the firing trials at Pola, an accident occurred to the breach of a 30£ centimetre gun. Three officers were killed and several others injured, two seriously. Vice-Admiral Count Lanjers yon Wellenburg, president of the Naval Technical Committee, was terribly injured, and had to have his legs amputated.
