AUCKLAND, Aug. 21
At the Supreme Court Mrs Hall was charged with the murder of her worth, daughter Isabel on June 27 at WarkThe crown prosecutor described the case as particularly sad. Accused had taken her children into a bairn where she hanged them. She subsequently rescued two little ones but Isabel's neck was dislocated.
Without leaving the box the jury returned a verdict of not guilty on the grounds of insanity. Accused was committed to the Auckland mental hospital. The crown prosecutor stated that he would ask leave of the Attorney General to withdraw a further charge of attempted murder.
