RUGBY FOOTBALL.
N.S. WALES PROPOSAL DECLINED
MUST SETTLE UP FIRST,
WELLINGTON, June 6.
The committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union refused to entertain a proposal from N.S. Wales to send a team to Sydnoy to join in a trip to California.
The feeling of the committee was that N.S. Wales must first settle up for the previous trips, and one member said that'they wanted no. more partnerships.
A cable was sent refusing the offer, to be followed.by a letter conveying a resolution that tefore any more negotiations are entered into ther.e must be an adjustment of accounts.
