The Auckland Farmers' Union, Ltd., through their agents, Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, are in receipt of cable advice from their head office, under date the Bth February, 3912, as follows:—

Butter. —Market firm ; but quiet. The total imports into the United Kingdom for week ending Saturday, amounted to 68,000 cwts, as compared with 91,000 cwts for corresponding period last year. As we predicted at the of this season, the American and Canadian demand has been a large one, and : s likely to increase in the future. Those factories wh'ch left themselves frae to sell a portion of their output to Vancouver or elsev*'here have reaped the benefit of the excellent prioeo ruling. This demand will ease off in March, but it is well to boar ihis trade in mind for next season. We have active representatives at these points, who are in a. good position to secure orders. Please wr.'te us when you have any to offer.
