NEW-STYLE PAPERS.
The ballot papers to be used on Thursday next are new in style and very simple. They cover the absolute secrecy of the ballot more than any previous papers in use. Electors should remember that no one can discover who casts the votes. Therefore, whether your employer or any one else attempts to influence you when you entar the booth you can follow your own choice. You Strike out the line you DO NOT WANT TO VOTE FOR. You must remember the effect of your vote apart from sentimentalism. You must remember that the welfcfiare of your town, the district, and •"New Zealand depends upon your vote. . You must vote wisely and apart from prejudice. You must vote for what you think is best. Be fair to yourself* be fair to the town. Remember the past. Remember who has ser/ea you w<3ll and who deserves from you .all that you can do in return. Remember that Mr Mander is a man to be proud of as a representative, and that while he is in Marsden Whatigarei as a tewn and every citizen can claim him as a friend.
