KAMO SHEEP FAIR

The Auckland Farmers' Union, Ltd., I - eld the first sheep fair of the seasen st the Kamo yards on the 14th inst., when close upon 7000 sheep were penned. A great number of the entry consisted of four and five-year-old ewes ; and they sold at from 6/6 to 10/6 Some really good store wethers wort. , offered and realised under the hatr.Mer from 10/6 to 13/6, one line or 800 being purchased at the latter price .

The lambs yarded were a good lot. but unfortunately only n few pens came forward, and they were keenly competed for. We quote:---Fat wethers, 13s to Its 6d, store Co, J0« Gd to ].3s 6d. Ewes, 2 and 4-tooth RomneyLincoln cross, 14s 6d to 17s; 2 and 4tooth Shropshire cross, 12s to 13s 6d; good framed 4 and 5-year-old ewes, 7s to 10s 6d; others, 4s 6d to 6s 6d.

Lambs.—Strong woolly mixed sexes, 7s to 8s 3d; others, 4s 6d to 6s.
