THE GAMING ACT.
TOTE LICENSE COMMISSION,
SIR G. CLIFFORD CHAIRMAN
WELLINGTON, Jan. 26,
The Governor has appointed the following as the Commission under the provisions of the Gaming Act for the purpose of determining the racing clubs to which tote licenses are to be granted in the year commencing on the Ist August next, and the number of days each of those licenses is entitled to:— Sir George Clifford (Christchurch). Albert Cohen (Dunedin). . J. Rowe (Auckland). G. P. Donnelly (Hawke's Bay). R. H. Nolan (Wellington). Sir G. Clifford will act as chairman.
