COLD STORES AT SMITHFIELD

(Received Dec. 19, 8.42 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 17. The Central Markets Committee has reported t<3 the Court of Common Council in favor of submitting plans and estimates for corporation cold stores at Smithfield. The report, which is the result of pressure brought to bear by New Zealand exporters, was adopted. During the discussion speakers suggested tho desirableness of the corporation acquiring private stores in the neighborhood of Smithfield.
