MURDER AT HIKUTAIA.

On Saturday, Nikorima, a native attending Tutuke's tangi at Te Aroha, received a telegram stating that a young man named Jerry, son-in-law to Matthew Tepuna, had been murdered in the Hikutaia bush. A whole posse of natives* passed through Paeroa to the scene of the alleged tragedy, and found the body, ! which was taken on to the Thames.
