Wmght v. hogg.— Claim, £16 1/ ; judgment .confessed for £14 11/, and -costs 32/.
Stewart v. Hogg.— Claim, £18 14/6 ; confessed for £17 7/6; costs 6/.
Munro v. Hogg.— Claim, £8 18/ ; confessed for £4 17/; costs G/.
Campbell v. Hogg.— Claim, £8 0/6 ; confessed for JB6 13/6 ; costs £1 If
Spear v. Hogg.— Claim, £6 15/; confessed for £5 6/ ; costs 6/.
Love v. Hogg.— Claim, £3 7/6; confessed for £2 6/6 ; costs, 4/.
In all the above cases Mr Carruth appeared for plaintiffs, who claimed for balance of wages from the contractor, Mr Walter Hogg. Mr Speeh acting for defendant entered confessions for above amounts in some cases for incorrect amounts, and on that account plaintiff's solicitor obtained his fee.
Prescott y. McDonald.— Claim, £7 19/10 for goods supplied. Mr Steadman for plaintiff, Mr Carruth for defendant. After considerable arguments, judgment was given for plaintiff, with liberty to apply for a rehearing and execution stayed.
