APPLE BLIGHT.

(To the Editor). Sib,— l read with considerable interest a report of Mr Hanlan'a paper on the above subject and agree with him as to the importance of ridding ourselves of the blight pest. His experience and mine, however, do not accord. I have both the Maiden's Blush and Dunn's Seedling in my Orchard, which is not a volcanic soil, and, if there is any difference they are more blighted than any sorts I have. This may be the result of causes of which I know nothing, but such is the case. — I am, &c. A Settlkb.
