BARTEAM (Grey Lynn) - Mr. F. Bartram, twenty years ago, was one of the Christchurch Labour movement's best speakers, and thousands have been convulsed by his jocular-ties. For some years he fell put of tho movement for various causes but his victory in Grey Lynn in 1919 showed that he had not lost his punch. ' # * .* *• W. PARRY (Auckland Central) Mr. W. Parry has all his life been a battler for flm workers. In New Zealand he sprang into prominence during the Waihi Strike, dur',ng the course of which he was imprisoned and at the end of which, brutally victimised. For some time he was secretary of the Miners' Federation and the classes of workers ho has helped t G organise are legion. At last election he succeeded in shifting an extremely difficult £iberal and is confident he can hold his seat.
