WELLINGTON WATERSIDERS' REPORT.

The just-out annual report and bal-ance-sheet of the Wellington Waterside Workers' Union is a tribute to the energy, capacity and attitude of tho officers of tho union. The report is a most valuable one, full of information worth knowing and preserving. G. G. Farland, general secretary, has done the compiling, and gives us a striking table —Arbitration v. Federation. We shall reprint the table later on. John Carr, president, and (1. Bruce, assistant secretary, have ably supplemented Farland's efforts during the period under review. Tho management committee having scrutinised the report and bal-ance-sheet carried the following:--This committee places on record its appreciation of tho work done by the officers of the. union, and congratulates the secretary on the business-like way in Avhich he has presented his report and balance-sheet." And so say all of us.
