.At the last meeting of the Wellington Propaganda Branch, N.Z.F.L., the election, of officers took place and resulted as follows: President, J. Roberts ((his Stokers' Union); vice-Pre-s dent. W. The half-yearly election of officers of the Wellington Branch Socialist P-arty took place on July 19 and resulted as follows: Chairman, C. Madeima ; viceChair, Otto England; Assistant Secretary. C. Butters; Literary Secretary, 11. Gurlick: Committee, Coins. Glover, Wi'lhun", 'Mum mc, Mumford, Eagle, Lambert and Rogers. Social and Propaganda Committees w?re also elected . Com. F. Freeman, of Christchurch, who was appointed Organising Secretary for a period of one month commenced his duties on July 19. An orgiuiser is sadly needed and Com. Frank Freeman carries the best wishes of all in his onerous position. It is i> be honed that and one all will cooperate with our organiser and build up the party. There is room for it; it could be made a power in this city. Get right into harness, boys, and good luck. Frank, get them working. A literature secretary says that the rut-; cat paper covers as well as the b:>und copies of Blatehford's boo.';, and when they eat "God and my Neighbour" they'll stick at nothing.—
