SCHOOL SPORTS SUBASSOCIATION
ANNUAL SPORTS MEETING
The annual sports of the Teviot State Primary Schools’ Sports Sub-Association were held at Millers Flat on Saturday, October 16, under ideal weather conditions. Entries were good and competition throughout was keen, but the attendance of the public was disappointing. The Sub-Association appreciated the presence of five members of the Otago Schools’ Sports Association. The Millers Flat School Committee was responsible for. preparing _ the ground, and the success of the meeting was largely due to the efficient way in which this was done. Thanks are' due to those gentleman who acted as officials. Millers Flat, with 49i points, retained the Herbert Smith Cup, Ettrick gaining 39 and Roxburgh, 34|.
