ROXBURGH BOWLING CLUB.

£>_ (■LOSING Ob' SEASON. On Tuesday afternoon last the Roxburgh green was officially dosed for this season and a large number of bowlers took the last opportunity for a roll up. The function took the form of a progressive pairs tournament, the !ul\ players as leads and the men as skips. Seven rinks were required for the 28 players who took part. The green was in geod order and a very enjoyable afternoon's bowling was the result. The prizewinners at the cemelusuvu uf play were as follows: Airs George (bad) 1, Miss Heaps (lead) booby, Mr «J. «I. Hammond (skip) 1, Mr W. Weaver (skip 5 booby. A very pleasant and enjoyable afternoon tea was provided during the afternoon for the players and also the spectators who were pi esenl.
