The Associated Stock Auctioneers advise that to date no entries have been received for to-day’s weekly sale, but that if any entries do come forward, they will be offered for sale in the usual manner at tho saleyards. This is the first occasion for many years that no sale has been held on a Tuesday in Pahiatua, and it is an indication that the farmers generally are too busy, with shearing and other farm work to worry about selling and buying stock,
