There was a good attendance at tne November meeting of the garden circle, Mrs. Johanson presiding. The afternoon was taken up with arranging flie schedule for the show to be held by the garden circle in March. Mrs. J. tSpan has donated a special prize for a novice class for dahlias, amiMr. S. Oxenham has also donated a special prizo tor dahlias for garden circle members oqiy. Mrs. ,J. Lacey was appointetl to act as secretary for the show. A competition for one rose resulted as follows: Mrs. U. Green 1, Mrs. J. Lacey 2, Mrs. H. Dawson 3. Mrs. Johanson advised that there would not be a meeting in December but there would be a meeting in January at the home of Mrs. Oxenham in Te Matai Road.
