Mr. T. Stanley, of Dawson Street, has left for a holiday in Christchurch.
Mr. Ken Bezzant, of Palmerston North, was a vistor to Pahiatua yesterday. The Town Clerk, Mr. L. D. Lovelock, returns today from Wellington where he has been engaged on borough housing business. Mr. F. Paynter, of Wellington, has now arrived to assume the managership of the Pahiatua Branch of the Union Bank of Australia, vice Mr. C. C. Smythe, who is retiring on superannuation.
