King George Handicap At Ellerslie SWEET BISCUIT’S SPRINT. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Nov. 11. The Avondale Jockey Club’s meeting was held at Ellerslie yesterday, the weather being fine and the attendance large. The track was good. The totalisator handled £168,i81, as against £154,164 lUs, the increase being £14,016 10s. Lou Rosa received an ovation on winning tne King George Handicap. The two-year-old, le Havre, put up a great effort to win the Avondale Stakes after being a long way back. Yor&ish created a surprise by winning the Members' Handicap to pay over a third of a century. R. Caddy, rider of Bonny Pay in tiie Electric Handicap, was suspended for one month lor careless riding by coming over too quickly at the start.
