Switch-over to Civilian Production

Received Sunday, 8.30 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 11. The Board of Trade announced that a further 17 Government factories, representing an area of nearly 2,000,000 square feet, has been allocated for civiian production. They will provide employment for more than 7000 persons. Thus far the Board of Trade has al located for civilian industry or as disposal depots 132 Government factories, with an area of about 37,000,000 square feet, estimated to provide work for about 270,000.
